U.S. Space Force Lt. Gen. David N. Miller, Jr., commander of Space Operations Command (head of table), meets with 20th Space Surveillance Squadron (20 SPSS) Guardians and members of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) Space Operations Group at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., June 26th, 2025. The group discussed the future and sustainment of the U.S. Space Force combat-ready space, cyberspace, intelligence and combat support. Miller outlined the Space Surveillance Squadron’s mission and capabilities at Eglin. The engagement was designed to build bilateral relationships at the operator level, build mission partner capacity, and help build a cohesive collective fighting force.
