The Regional Affairs Directorate of SAF/IA integrates security cooperation, security assistance, political-military strategy, and strategic communication actions with partner nations for the US Air and Space Forces.

SAF/IARA

The Americas and Africa Division creates, advocates for, and facilitates US Air Force policies and programs that support US national security objectives throughout the Americas and Africa, through international politico-military affairs, foreign military sales, education and training, cooperative research and development, and related endeavors.

SAF/IARC

The Central Division shapes US Air Force policies and programs that support US national security objectives within the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Iran, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen. The Division pursues stability, economic development, and access within the region through international politico-military affairs, foreign military sales, education and training, cooperative research and development, and related endeavors in concert with US government, international, and industry partners.

The Europe and NATO Division shapes US Air Force policies and programs that support US national security objectives within Europe and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) through international politico-military assessments, foreign military sales (FMS), education and training, cooperative research and development, and related endeavors in concert with US government, international, and industry partners.

SAF/IARF

The Air Force Foreign Liaison Office helps shape the SECAF/CSAF/CSO international engagement strategy with the Foreign Air Attaché Corps. The program is designed to support the US Air and Space Force mission, national security community, and the President’s national security and foreign policies. It provides the Foreign Air Attachés with firsthand US Air and Space Force operations, structure, and cultural indoctrination as well as insight into common challenges and potential ways ahead on issues of mutual interest.

The Indo-Pacific Division creates, advocates for, and facilitates US Air Force policies and programs that support US national security objectives throughout the Pacific Region, through international relationships, foreign military sales, education and training, cooperative research and development, and related endeavors, in concert with US government, international, and industry partners.

SAF/IARS

The Space Division creates, advocates for, and facilitates Department of the Air Force and US Space Force space security cooperation policies and programs that advance US national security objectives through pol-mil affairs, cooperative research and development, acquisition, and foreign military sales. It enables access to information, systems, and education and training that delivers enhanced operational capabilities to allies, partners, and coalition warfighters.
