Air Force Lt. Col. Paul Lopez stands outside a hangar at Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal in Australia, August 2, 2023. The Hawaiian Raptors Squadron is comprised of the 19th and the 199th Fighter Squadrons. They're among several U.S. Air Force units operating out of bases throughout northern and western Australia as part of Talisman Sabre 23, a biennial exercise aimed at enhancing interoperability among key allies.
