U.S., Timor-Leste partnership strengthened through PAC ANGEL 22-4
U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Jason Haner, lead engineer, speaks with a member of the Timor-Leste Defense Force and a school administrator during a site survey of a school prior to Pacific Angel 22-4 in Baucau, Timor-Leste, Sept. 9, 2022. The operation is scheduled for Sept.12-17 and will focus on capacity building through health services outreach, engineering civic action program construction projects and subject matter expert exchanges. Pacific Angel operations build relationships between partner and allied nations and the United States, promoting military-civilian-nongovernmental organization cooperation and improving the quality of their response and coordination with civilian disaster response agencies and regional partners.
