Teaching Class

Navy Capt. Ian Wexler, the director of the Defense Institute of International Legal Studies, teaches a class in the law of armed conflict to allied and partner nation officers. The institute, part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, engages ally and partner nation military and civilian personnel on civilian casualty mitigation and other aspects of legal capacity building.
